Overview of the Tuscan Demonstration Case

For the Tuscan Demonstration Case, the main objective of the R4C project is to implement a Nature Based Solution technique to restore the dune system increasing the resilience of the area against coastal erosion. The project also aims at developing a conceptual design and a management procedure, based on the knowledge acquired in the design, realization, and monitoring of the intervention, that can then be applied in different EU regions. The target are for the Tuscan Demonstration is Sterpaia Natural Park:  Western Follonica Gulf, Tuscany, Italy.
