The common challenge that the AMMIRARE project addresses is to make the beach system more resilient to climate change (CC) risks through the implementation of naturalistic solutions. Coastal erosion, sediment loss and reduced beach width are just some of the risks that coastal communities and their territorial authorities will face in the future, compounded by the loss of natural and economic capital.
