The Marine Renewables Infrastructure Network project
LABIMA participates to MaRINET2, the Marine Renewables Infrastructure Network project, offering access to the use of its installations:
Wave-Current Flume One (WCF1)
Wave-Current Flume Two (WCF2)

MaRINET2 is composed of 39 organizations who collaborate to progress offshore renewable energy technologies in Europe. It aims to accelerate the development of wave, tidal and offshore wind energy technologies and infrastructure by opening up access to 57 test facilities across 13 European countries. The project is now in its second iteration, and it is supported by the EU's Horizon 2020 programme.
This second phase will run from 2017 to 2021. Access costs are borne by the EU in order to encourage those for whom normal access costs may be too great (e.g. SMEs) and to accelerate the development of the sector through testing and development of ideas, devices etc.
For details on eligibility criteria, how to apply, available testing infrastructures etc., please visit the MaRINET2 website: www.marinet2.eu
